Michelle Syberg, Broker / Owner

Michelle Syberg is a co-owner of Mid-America Property Partners and is a licensed Broker-Salesperson, specializing in corporate-owned homes. She works with several REO clients and has the knowledge and experience necessary to manage and market REO assets from acquisition through settlement.

Past experience includes Citicorp Mortgage, Inc., from May 1987 through May 1997 as an Operations and Sales Manager in the REO Department working with a wide range of customers. From 1992–1997, Michelle served as an Operations Unit Manager and was responsible for the hiring, training and management of a staff of 8–12 that would liquidate owned real estate by achieving maximum return on sale while minimizing losses. She traveled to her markets for property inspections and trained agents, vendors and field representatives on the REO sale process. Michelle also developed and trained CMI field representatives and vendors on procedures and on-going training changes, as well as coordinated the Florida conversion project of REO processing to St. Louis in 1992. Prior to this time period, Michelle was the REO Supervisor from 1989–1992. She managed a staff of ten in the marketing and operations functions of REO. In 1988 while working as a Marketing Analyst, Michelle was recognized as a top performer with 97% return of appraisal while maintaining 66% under contract. Michelle has fifteen years of market analysis experience and progressive experience in the finance industry.
